Brainbreaker IQ Test: Verbal Analogies - These 24 analogies were created by Ronald K. Hoeflin, Ph.D., and are taken from the "Brainbreaker," the "other half" of the famous Mega Test. The Mega Test has been taken by thousands of people, including Marilyn Savant of Parade Magazine fame, and John H. Sununu, then governor of New Hampshire and later Chief of Staff under President Bush, with both individuals achieving extremely high scores on the Mega. The Brainbreaker had been out of circulation for over 20 years, but we recently acquired all rights to it from Dr. Hoeflin. The Brainbreaker, like the Mega Test, is believed to measure intellectual ability above the 99.9999th percentile, which is one person in a million.

Hoeflin Letter Series Test - These 12 letter series problems were created by Ronald K. Hoeflin, Ph.D., philosopher and creator of the famous Mega, Titan, Ultra, and Power tests, and founder of several high IQ societies that you will find listed here.

9 Question IQ Test - This is a very difficult test originally published as a puzzle contest in Vidya, the journal of the Triple Nine Society.

Lateral Thinking Letters Quiz - This cobweb of a site may not look like much, but scroll down and you'll find a nice 33 question quiz (there are 34, but the 1st one is filled in for you) that asks the "24 H in a D" type questions ("24 Hours in a Day" is the answer for that one). Nice scoring script. Supposedly if you can get 23 of these right, you are a "genius" and might qualify for Mensa. But they are fun in any case.

Standardized IQ Test - This IQ test is comprised of 3 sections containing 20 questions each, and is similar (and in fact possibly identical) to a test I took in paper format many years ago.

Intelligence Test - A quick 10 question IQ quiz that is to be completed in 5 minutes, but there is no timer. I achieved a perfect score, but may have taken longer than 5 minutes plus have an advantage due to having been around these types of quizzes for a long time and knowing what they're usually looking for. Doesn't give you an IQ score, but does provide a percentile ranking. A perfect score is achieved by only 1%, 9 out of 10 by 2%, 12% score 8 out of 10, etc.

Sequential IQ Test - This 15 question untimed test is designed to measure your ability to solve sequence problems. No higher mathematics are required to solve the problems (not even algebra). It's still plenty tough, though...

Mathematical and Logical IQ Test - This 21 question untimed test is designed to measure your mathematical abilities and knowledge as well as your logical aptitude. Although fluency in English is necessary, the emphasis of the test is not on vocabulary or cultural knowledge, perhaps making this a good test for those who do use English as their primary language. An understanding of the fundamentals of algebra will prove helpful on this test.

Chimera's Conundrums IQ Test - These puzzles appeared in modified form as Chimera's Conundrums in the 8/98 issue of GAMES Magazine, MSLaneous, the newsletter of St. Louis Area Mensa, and in other high IQ society newsletters.
